As far as equipment goes, we have more than most! For toys we have twin Hobbie Mirage fishing Kayaks on board, a Brownies compressor with ten tanks, two Torpedo underwater scooters, 15 rods and reels from fly fishing to Penn and Shimano 50W's rigged for big game including Marlin. In addition I have two deep drop rigs fishable to 3000 ft for daytime/nightime swordfish or grouper and snapper. I also have a live well, cast nets and Sibiki rods to allow extensive live bait fishing. We also have a full size hammock we can set up with sun shade on the bow. We keep noodles and blow up water chairs for swimming, and the vessel is fitted with six underwater lights to add lots of entertainment from sea life at night.
On board we are equipped with a 7.6 KW gen set, three air conditioners, freezer and fridge, separate bar fridge with ice maker, microwave, blender, gas grill, TV/DVD in salon, and watermaker. Technical equipment includes electric winches, solar panels, full Raymarine and Garmin redundant GPS systems including satellite radio and satellite weather (SIRIUS), plus RADAR and autopilot, VHF and sideband. The stereo/CD system includes satellite radio and has Ipod connections. There are three separately controlled volume zones covering the salon, the aft cockpit, and the foredeck, and a 100 watt amplifier.
We cruise between 7 and 8 knots under power or sail, with maximum speeds in the 10 - 12 knot range. We prepare great meals and sometimes add gourmet flares, time permitting. We tend to focus on staying active as long as it is light out, and transitioning to cocktails and meal time after sunset. We are active and love to fish and dive, and explore remote islands and sealife. We enjoy clients who would like to learn what we have learned from cruising for 20 years. We love to teach sailing, anchoring, diving for lobsters, and fishing of all kinds to enthusiastic folks that want to learn to do this on their own. We also know the remote Bahamas better than most and could show the right clients a fantastic time on select, well planned trips over there, including the excitement of a Gulf Stream crossing, if desired.
